From Frank's Tiny but Mighty Garden! One slice of the largest tomato covers a regular hamburger bun! The entrance way shown below is the entrance to Frankie's house, newly landscaped. Also a photo of his newly fenced in back yard that they are landscaping.

More of our spring time yard.

I don't know if anyone is looking at these photos (Frank took them) but if you are and you find that I made a mistake in naming the plants, drop me a line and I'll correct it. Thanks! 1. Cactus Flower, 2. Hydrangea, 3. Larkspur, 4. pink begonias, 5. Red flowers-don't know the name, 6. Gerber Daisey, 7. purple flowers...don't know the name. 8.Frank's tiny but mighty garden. 9. The Newport Clock in Wales, also called the Collapsing Clock.  Sent in by Marilyn G.

Newport/Collapsing Clock

The clock's 9m high classical form holds a big surprise for the audience. Perhaps the title "In the Nick of Time" gives a clue, for as the hour strikes the devil himself appears in a cloud of infernal smoke. Skeletons look out, there's thunder and lightning and the whole clock tower begins to collapse………..what will happen next?…….can the angels wake up in time to save the clock?

The Artist

Andy Plant, based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, took his inspiration for the clock from the ornate Victorian architecture in Newport town centre. He describes his work as 'a cross between a Cuckoo Clock and an Expresso Machine…. The only white knuckle clock in the world!

The clock is now situated in John Frost Square in Newport, Gwent.
